You understand that your user contributions may be copied by others and discussed on and outside of this site, and if you do not have the right to submit them, it may subject you to liability. LogicForKidz takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party. Linking You may link to publicly available portions of our web properties if you do so in a way that is fair and does not damage or take advantage of our reputation. Parent Consent Agreement:
Thank you for considering LogicForKidz as your learning and discovery partner. LogicForKidz is an online learning platform that allows its customers to access classes on coding and related subject matter. For more information about LogicForKidz please visit our website: www.logicforkidz.com This agreement (“Parent Consent Agreement”) relates to a LogicForKidz customer (“Customer” or “Student”) that you are considered to be legally responsible for because they are under the age of 18 and therefore cannot provide the legal consent. For the purpose of the Agreement, you and your use mean and include your child’s use of our Offerings. In order for the Customer’s information to be collected by LogicForKidz’s online learning platform, as the parent or legal guardian of the Student, you are required to complete and sign this Parent Consent Agreement. Please read this Parent Consent Agreement and LogicForKidz’s Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy specified below before agreeing to them. This Parent Consent Agreement, Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy shall collectively be referred to as the agreement (“Agreement”) I represent and warrant that (a) I am the parent or legal guardian of the LogicForKidz Customer named above; (b) no court has issued any order, judgment, or decree granting custody of the Student minor to anyone else or otherwise affecting my rights as parent or legal guardian; (c) the Student has not been emancipated; (d) I have the legal right, power, and authority to consent to the Agreement (as defined above) on behalf of the Student and myself; and (e) I am at least 18 years of age. In consideration of the mutual promises and benefits arising out of the business purpose of the Agreement, you agree to the following terms: I allow the name, region, age, phone number and other personal information and non-personal information of me and the Student to be used for the purposes identified in the Agreement and to be displayed on the LogicForKidz platform as needed. I acknowledge that I have read and I understand this entire Agreement. By signing below, I hereby consent to and approve in all respects the terms and conditions of the Agreement and the Customer entering into the Agreement, and I agree that both the Customer and I shall be bound by all of its terms and conditions. I understand that this Parent Consent Agreement and approval is not revocable. I grant to LogicForKidz (and its sub-contractors, partners, and suppliers), a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free, transferable worldwide license (with a right to sub-license) to ingest, store, deliver, create digital master files, convert, adapt, encode, transcribe, use, reproduce, compile, display, publish, share, publicly communicate, make derivative works, recordings, and transmit and make available for learning through the use of such recordings. I consent to LogicForKidz, an entity within its group, or a third party learning partner hired by the LogicForKidz to video record the classes attended by the Student that may contain my child’s personally identifiable information such as the face images, voices, etc. that the Student may switch on to video recording during the classes. I consent to LogicForKidz’s use of the video recordings with the Student’s information for the purpose of sharing with parent groups, feedback, instructor training, sales and marketing, usage reporting, and for other relevant business purposes, as they deem appropriate. I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Etneek LLC (and its successors and assignees) from and against all claims by third parties (including claims for breach of security resulting in loss of information or data) resulting from my or the Student’s breach or alleged breach of the terms of this Parent Consent Agreement, the Agreement or any of the representations and warranties consented and contained herein. By signing below, you agree to the terms of the Agreement and you give your consent to this Parent Consent Agreement. Please complete and sign this Parent Consent Agreement and then click submit upon completion. Code Of Conduct LogicForKidz seeks to provide a welcoming, engaging, fun, and safe learning experience and ongoing community for all enthusiastic about coding. We require all parents, teachers and students and any other users of LogicForKidz to adhere to the following code of good conduct and refrain from all unacceptable conduct as specified below. Code of Good Conduct All Be Respectful Treat your online students, instructors, and parents of students with courtesy and respect. Think before you communicate, Do not indulge in derogatory, dismissive, overly critical comments. Support others in learning by providing feedback, resources, and information. Treat the students and teachers with courtesy and respect. Think before you communicate; avoid derogatory or overly critical comments. Facilitate appropriate communication and interaction between students and teachers. Honor Privacy Honor the students’ right to privacy when designing and implementing courses. Use all data only according to the Company’s then current Privacy Policy. Use the personally identifiable communication (PII) only for direct communications between the instructor and the student. Never share the PII or the contact details of the students outside of LogicForKidz. Be Ethical Be honest in your representations of your own background, education and experiences Do not submit or use others’ work as your work without proper acknowledgement Follow applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws and give attributions to the others’ work you have used. Be an active dependable member of the learning community Strive for excellence Provide useful feedback, resources, and guidance on a consistent basis Value, respect, and embrace diversity and allow for differing opinions and way of doing things Regularly review your course materials and make the necessary updates to keep them current at all times Keep your students safe, safeguard their PII, and value diversity of skills, talents, interests, and pace of learning Encourage and value students’ and parents’ feedback and use them continuously for improving the subject you are teaching Deal with issues of inappropriate conduct of students, parents, or fellow teachers carefully and bring them to the attention of the Company for appropriate actions Honor Laws Follow the laws and regulations of the U.S. and of all the places where you are located, operate, or engage from. Foster Diversity Foster diversity and practice inclusion because we work together and best because of our differences, not despite them Responsible Social Media Comply with all Company policies in use of online media. This applies to all communications related to your role in the Company and to personal communications that may impact the Company. In using social media, be polite, respectful, and remember that one’s conduct may impact the way others view who we are and what we stand for as a Company. Be alert to reporting obligations, including adverse event reporting procedures, and protecting Company and customer confidential information. Be mindful of the content created, shared and posted on all online media and use good judgment when engaging in social media.
